Some anecdotes and insights on cartoons from a hand-drawing animation filmmaker
Dustin Rees, Zürich
Dustin Rees was born in Zurich in 1981. Following his love for animation he graduated at the University of Art and Design in Lucerne in 2007. Since then he has directed numerous short films as well as commissioned trailers, advertisements and clips. He teaches, organises workshops and presentations on Film and Animation at various schools, film-festivals and events. Born to British parents, Dustin embraces all forms of humour, loves to tell stories from an alternative perspective, and can not do without a cup of tea!
